Hi! I'm Michael Angelo Caruso, author of the 5 Cool Ideas book series. I’ve been helping entrepreneurs grow their companies for over ten years. You may already be familiar with my work. My life has not always been like this.
Mom and dad raised four boys on a lower-middle class, single income. To make ends meet, mom served us powdered milk. She cut off the tops of paper grocery bags because lunch bags were “too expensive.” I remember taking baths with my brothers to save water, although not recently.
I paid my way through college working at the grocery store that provided us with “lunch” bags. In my 20s, I toured the country in a rock band with my brothers opening for acts like Rick Springfield, Corey Hart and Joan Jett.
A while back, I quit a good-paying job in the telecommunications business because I was unfulfilled and knew life had more in store for me.
Turns out that store is an online store that generates more revenue in one year than many workers earn annually at their full-time job.
I had a little help getting started with all this, but no one really knew much about Internet commerce back then and none of my mentors at the time were published authors. I wish someone had shown me the way. That’s my story.
